e-Gates Inspection

Recently, I was in Lagos to conduct an inspection of the progress at Terminal 2, Wings D and E, and the private terminal of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, where a total of 21 electronic gates (e-gates) are currently being installed.

While the installation at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja is now complete and ready for commissioning, I am optimistic that the Lagos installation will be completed in the coming weeks.

Furthermore, this facility will also be installed at Kano, Port Harcourt, and Enugu international airports, all of which will be linked to the newly built command and control center in Abuja.

This strategic border management solution will, among other benefits, enhance internal security while also providing travelers with ease of passage and comfort.

The #RenewedHope government under President @officialABAT (GCFR) recognizes that technology is designed to enhance services and processes, particularly in border security.
