Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo is married to Abimbola Tunji-Ojo, and the couple has two children. His family life reflects his values of integrity, commitment, and service to others.

In 2021, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration by Joseph Ayo Babalola University.
